You can use any of these, it is a matter of personal taste...the higher the number the bluer the light. 10K is very bright and yellow...12K a little blue tinge, 14K a little more blue... you get the idea.
10K is like a grow light it gives off the most bright for growth.
MH gives off heat so be sure to hae fans to keep things cool
