So, my 90's got a 2 inch picasso, snowflake eel, and a cleaner wrasse. What should I get next? Is a harlequin tusk going to be too big? What about a puffer? Give me some suggestions. Thanks.

IMO a tusk would work fine, or you could add another trigger. From what I have read don't put a puffer and trigger together, when they get bigger the puffer would be the looser. I have a small huma humu in with a porky and dogface for now I will be adding another big tank in the near future. Good Luck

guppie my man you have a Pork and Dog in same tank - shame on you. That combo is more of a problem then the Trigger and Puffer why you ask? Here goes my story again. Local fish store had a large Pork for 5 years in a display tank for some reason they got a large Dog from a customer and thought we will put them together in our 180 gal. Within a week the Dog attacked the Pork and darn near killed it. Moral every comp chart says those two do not go with each other. May get away with it when they are small for awhile but in the end one will get the snot beat out of it.

maybe a tusk, or a puffer, i have that combo a clown trigger and a tusk and a puffe,r they do fine, i wouldnt put another trigger in tho, triggers in the same tank of thatr size wouldnt work out. try that tusk make it bigger then the trigger tho

man puffer, if i had a nickle every time you had to tell that story.... well, for a 90 you got alot of choices. tusks are real nice. you could look into a marine betta. my vote goes to a hog though. they are great fish. im about to add a coral to my 75 with a picasso and snowflake. other species are cuban, spanish, dianas, lyretail, and a few others that arent too common in the hobby. they are great fish, tons of color, great personality, and never miss a single meal. look up some info on them, im sure youll love them. bo

Pufferlover the dogface and proky are only together untill I set up another tank, they are both on the smaller size and for now seem to like each other, they will swim the tank together and sleep in the same spot together, but I know that they will have to be seperated soon and that was the plain. I have been listening to you since I got on the board and respect your advice, and that is not a suckup. Good Luck

hey guppie it may not be a suck up but I liked it anyway lol. Just wanted to make sure you had heard my feelings as posted before here. I am so smitten by Puffers (and now eels as you know) that I hate to see anyone loose one due to putting them together. As you said as long as they are small they will do ok the problem is when they get large then suddenly its like a bad marriage and they go after each other. If it wasn't for that problem with them I could have 3 less tanks right now (5 spread over 4 tanks including the pork pair). Sounds like you are on right track as far as future.
Grouperhead: I know about the story even I am tired of it but what can I say it is the best way I know to prove the point and frankly that is how I learned that sad fact myself. Frankly I have never seen Puffs together porks or dogs alone or with each other in any lfs I have visited (the only exception is I know one store that keeps lots of baby spiney puffers (actually they are boxfish but also called puffers) in a tank with each other, but they run them as specials and move them out fast.
