What Organisms does Hyposalinity Kill?

(Terry B., Beth, Anthem, Trey, ... all you ol' salts) Have been wanting to ask this question since applying hyposalinity at home for the first time... are there any other pathogens/parasites/organisms that hyposalinity eliminates (interupts their life-cycle) other than ******... (ich)???

So, as Terry suggested in his resent article, it may be advisable to generally use hypo at least for a week in a QT, if not longer to address any cryptocaryon coming in on new fish. Should we start suggesting on the BB to generally use hypo in QT with new fish?
That will take some doing since it is draining and difficult just to get people to use it when they really need to for disease. Something for us to consider though.

Well, I'm still working on my reef tank and haven't really stocked fish in that tank yet [except for the 1 clown]. My plan though is to finish up the reef/invert ecosystem, then add whatever fish I am going to add. Perhaps by that time we'll have more input regarding hypo in the QT, and I'll experiement with this when adding my own fish.
