what shimp

i want to get a pistol shrimp and a gobie because they wok together but it seems like the shrimp might be mean. is it reef friendly and will it atack my small fish?

i had a pistol shrimp in my reef tank for about 6 months before i even new it in there. it had obviously come in on my lr but never bothered anything. i believe they are reef safe.

yes they are reef safe and cool to watch

They are cool but they can cause alot of problems in a tank. They can also crack your tank. I have one in my tank that I have been trying to get out for several months. He came out of some lr that i have bought and has killed several of my fish. In my opinion I would only keep them in a species tank unless down the road you want to lose some fish

Are you talking about pistol shrimp or mantis shrimp? Mantis shrimp are the nuisance, and pistol shrimp are not, or so that's what I thought.
