what should i do?

i recently just added some LR and LS. ive been cycleing the rock for about 3 or 4 weeks now and just added some LS last weekend. since then on my rock it almost looks like first and its covered pretty much all of the sand ive never had this problem but ive never had this in a tank. im guessing im not cleaning the tank properaly? any advice would help... by the way there are no fish in the tank
