What should i test for?

i see people talking about alkalinity and calcium and all sorts of stuff, but i dont have test kits for any of those. i only have ph, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. should i have more test kits? if so which ones?

the major and most needed tests are
amonia, nitrite, nitrate, ph, alkalinity, calcium hardness, salinity
next you should also make it available to test for phosphates
and copper(form time to time)
and if reef, definitely copper, as well as iodine and srontium

I don't mean to intrude on your thread HNF2K, but thought this might pertain in this thread. Has anyone used the test kits offered by swf.com? If so, are they good kits?
