I have a 29 gallon and I am wondering what size Koralia power head to get? I was thinking about getting the the koralia Nano, says it is 240gph... what do you think?

It really depends upon how much water you have in your tank (not tank size) and what you have in it.
For SPS you might need two, but as far as Korilias go, my advice is to double your order as you may need spares.

The Koralia nano is useless IMO unless you are putting it on A. a 6 gallon and under pico tank or B. a small 10 gallon fish only tank. If you are looking for serious flow with no trouble get a Tunze nanostream 6025 far superior 660 gph and you can actually see the flow in the waves it creates.

I have a 29 with a koralia number 1. If you plan on placing the powerhead up high in the tank you can easily get away with a number 2.

Agreed. I think the 2 will fit well for your needs. I have a 1 in my 20 gal. QT and its just barely enough flow.

I have a #2 in my 20G long which is the same footprint as a 29G. I also have #3s in my 75G tank.
For a 29G:
If you are keeping softies and/or LPS, get a #2 or #3
If you are keeping SPS, get a #3 or #4
The powerheads are really good but the flow does dissipate over a short distance so it might be better to go with the higher flow powerheads.
Also, Hydor's customer service is A+. I lost a small piece while I was cleaning one of the powerheads and e-mailed them about it on a Wednesday and replacements (along with some upgrades that weren't included on the earlier version of the pump that I have) arrived on Monday. No charge!
