I have just started my first saltwater tank. According to a friend, the bigger the filter is.. the better it will be for the reef, because there are more water flow, and cleaner water quality.
however, I am setting up a 10 gal. tank. So, is a "Aqua Clear 110 Hang-On-Back Power Filter" a perfect fit? or is that alittle overkill?
This is the spec of the filter >>
+ Maximum Output: 500gph
+ Full Flow Control: 166gph
+ Power Consumption: 14W
+ Aquarium Capacity: 60-110gal
If the above filter is an overkill, what are the reasons? And what would you recommend instead?
Thanks
