I have a tank that someone gave me, it's 30Lx18 1/2Hx12W, I'm not sure what the gallon is. How do you find this out? Thanks

In inches, L X W X H / 231 = gls.

You can google aquarium dimensions. The site I checked says your tank size is 28.8 gallons. I checked it at http://www.saltyzoo.com/SaltyCalcs/DimGalConv.php
