What species is this clown

I puchesed this clown from my LFS. Today I went to a LFS in anothor city. and now I am confused, this was labeled as a True Percula clown. Is this correct? Please help? I was wanting to purchse a mate for this one, but now I dont know what species to buy.

Should try to buy a small one and a bigger one from the same tank. They will most likely pair up that way.

99% sure it's an ocellaris, but a better pic would help to confirm.

But I agree with riccio, it looks like an ocellaris to me too.

It;s a false perc the black outlining the white give is away.

So it's False Percula/Ocellaris Clown. Not the True Percula I was led to belive it was. Any different care?

no they are basicly the same. I maybe rong but I thik a false and a true can mate

They can definately mate. It will be a hybrid but you wont be able to tell. It will look like one or the other. you can cross any species as long as they look the same. Like the pink skunk and orange skunk, and the GSM and WSM.
But yours is definately a false percula. becasuse for its size the black stripes would be getting wider if it was a true percula.

It is actualy only about 2 inches long. When I got him he was only about a 1/2 inch long.

but about the care level the False perculas are actually known to be a little hardier then the true perculas.
