Capnella is usually the scientific name for Kenya tree.
The pic is a Colt. Similar family but different behavior and growth pattern. mid light, soft flow. Some call it capnella also but most separate between. Colt and Kenya

Looks more Cladiella(Colt) than Capnella(Kenya Tree),none the less both are easy and grow like the plague.

This was sold to me as a white kenya

And this was sold as a kenya, it looks more like a tree then the one in the first pic, so i give up trying to figure which one is a colt and which is a kenya

Jrthomas yours looks like a colt to me
Puffer32 the first is the colt IMO and the second it the kenya. The kenyas are more tree looking and have smaller polyps. as it gets bigger it wil start to throw off arms when it does this they will attach and start new corals.

Michael, I agree with you. I havebeen looking for a kenya like my 2nd pic, and both times i have ordered a kenya, i get shipped the one in my 1st pic, and as far as i am concerned, like you, believe both online distributors sent me colts. You would think they would know the difference.

i was just pointing out that when you order a kenya online, you may end up with a colt instead, it happened to me twice.
