What tangs do you want in your fish tank?

Here are the 5 tangs I like to have in my 120 gallon tank?
1. Blue Hippo Tang
2. Powder Blue Tang
3. Yellow Tang
4. Purple Tang
5. Sailfin Tang

I like Naso, Achilles, Powder Blue and Hippo.

If you are just saying what tangs you like, that is great. If you are serious about putting them all in one tank, I think you are looking for problems. It is very common for tangs to not get along well with other tangs of similar shape. I think you would likely have quarrels.

In my humble opinion...pick TWO tops. Color/shape difference between the two will help alot, for example, a regal (blue hippo) and a purple will do well, but a yellow and a purple probably will fight. A yellow and a powder blue should be okay also, but anytime you put more then one surgeonfish together you're taking a chance. I have a yellow with a regal and they get along well, but only because we got lucky with them. If they hadn't, the yellow would be in the reef tank.

Brother of mine has a 150 gal. with yellows purple tang sailfin and lipstick.. all doing just fine.
