What tank?

Ok, here in NE there's not alot of places to buy a tank. I'm looking for a 4' long tank, I prefer one with more depth than the 55gal. Petsmart has a 80gal (TopFin brand?) for $180. I've never seen that brand mentioned on the internet, but the construction looks really good, and the brace on top is a nice glass one. They also have a 150gal, size is 48x24x30, but that one is $350, and it would be even more expensive to give it good lighting. ***** has a 75gal but it's more than the 80gal, don't remember brand. And the LFS has a 75gal (All Glass) for $200, but it doesn't look as nice as the TopFin. It has a plastic brace on the top and the plastic rim on it just doesn't look as nice. I talked to the owner and a 75gal Oceanic w/ 2 overflows would cost $500 (special order). He said I could probably get it down to around $450. I have a couple more LFS to check out but it doesn't look promising to find anything better. So right now I'm thinking of saving the $300 from the overflows and getting one without. I'm also leaning towards the 80gal topfin over the 75gal allglass, it looks nicer. Any advice or thoughts? Also, anyone with one of these tanks, what did you pay and where?

In late December a lfs here in town was running a sale on AllGlass tanks and accessories.
I got my Oak colored 75E with AllGlass pine stand, versatop glass tops for $220.00 total.
Was hard to pass up - so I bought it.

broomer5, that doesn't sound like to bad of a deal. all of the aquariums I listed come with a glass top and light strip (1-48" NO). I'm not intrested in buying the lights or stand / canopy from the store. I love working with wood, have a small collection of tools, so I want to build the stand and canopy. I'm planning on running 4 or 6 NO in my canopy for a year or so, and adding 2 250 or 400W MH in a year or so after the tank as matured. By the way I'm going to start with FO w/ LR for a year or so and after I get MH go with corals. I will also be using a sump, but if I don't have a tank with built in overflows I might wait on that.

Yeah I talked the lfs guy into giving me (2) 30 or 40 lb. bags of CaribSea Special Grade sand ... and he could keep the 40 NO light fixture ....
Buying the tank a week after Christmas was not the best timing .. but I'm glad I got it set up.
Your lighting plan sounds very smart, and I wish you luck on your DIY stand and canopy.
See ya,
