What the.........HELP

So al of a sudden my teardrop clam is gaping.
I move him up higher after 30 min. he was looking better.
Then I see inside his mouth a shimp clear with black spots.
I have the clam in a bucket of sw.
NOW WHAT?

A friend of mine (baytran7) posted some pics of one a while back. I was lucky enough to get to see this in person when I went by his house to trade some coral.
