What to add!

I have a 55 gal with maroon clown, cleaner shrimp, star polyps, mushrooms....I really wanted to add a pygmy angel until I read a lot of them will eat coral. Some are very difficult to kept in tanks do to the fact they are not tank raised. I really wanted to add a lemonpeel until I read some not so good things. Has anyone had any pros/cons on adding pygmy angels with coral in the tank. I am really looking to add a fish that is very active swimmer during the day hours, Since My clown tends to hide in the live rock.

Well i'ts hot debate of angels with coral but I personally have never had a prob. with pygmys or coral beauties or flames for that matter. I'ts just my expierience though as I could always return them to my buddie at the lfs if they were a problem. I have had problems with tangs always in this matter (with softies) but people always say they are reef safe? I have never heard of a pygmy being a prob? I'd say if your buying one thats already in a tank with coral your on the right path...Just my 2 cents?

Pygmys are normally ok, but still it's going to be 50 / 50. Your tank is pretty much like mine except the Star Polyps (I want to get some soon!), and I have Snails, Hermits, a Star & Damsels. But, like I said it will be 50 / 50.

Thanks this is good info I was reading a lot and seems it can be hit or miss and as long as they are fed I think it should be just fine. Has any one had any other pygmy's besides the flame and coral beauty? And info would be great...

I would never get a lemonpeel again. It would nip at all my polyps so they would never extend. It would nip at my snowflake eel so he would never come out. Would nip at everything. It took me forever to catch him and take him back to the LFS. I would only trust a flame or a beauty. I have had success with both...
