What to buy for plants

Hello.
I want to aquascape my 46 gallon bowfront (which will be my horse tank) but I don't want to do that until I have purchased and received the live plants for the tank. What types of live plants do I want to purchase? Is there a "starter package" somewhere that you can recommend? I need some grasses and gorgonian and other things they can hitch to, right?
Thanks in advance. I'd like to order today so maybe I could have it by Saturday and aquascape. Right now the live sand and live rock are just stacked in the water and waiting.

Gorgonians are corals that require feedings and are moderate in care level to keep.
They are very nice for horses but are delicate and cannot be exposed to air.I have wanted one for my horse but I have heard they do not ship well.
I think SWF.com may have a plant starter package? Not sure.
Plants also require trimmings and maintenance. The easiest and cheapest route really is fake plants.

There are some great gorgonians out there that are photosynthetic, look into those if you have enough light to sustain them.

OK, so at this point I shouldn't hold up my aquascaping waiting to find all the right plants because I might not be using many? I thought there might be some "green" plants that live in saltwater that would like nice in a horse tank, besides corals.
I'll keep looking, but I guess I better start planning the rockwork without plants in mind and just add them later as I acquire them. Plastic, huh?

there are various types of macroalgae that you can use. swf.com has some plants...although i do not recommend the shaving brushes.

I have heavily planted tanks and have always ordered through live-plants dot com....It's a small mom/pop place that has everything , and you'l get your order 2-3 days after placing it , plus there very inexepensive....nice healthy macro's....there reds are very nice [need lower light ] and there codium is beautiful , my favorites[full light , i have 50/50 compacts,med-high current]...but stay away from sarragussum and the browns [ very high light , high current ] they melt in a horse tank ....i love planted tanks
oh and a good seller of gorgs is ccritters dot com...never a bad transaction from him...he also sells on e.B.a.y...I hope I'm not infringing on this websites policy's....just trying to promote lil mom / pop places that better the trade...
