what to do?????? (water evaporation)

my tank is only 29 gallons, so the water seems to be evaporating quickly. what should be done in that case??? should I do a water change soon, or should I just fill it back up w/ freshwater and add the salt that it needs to be at its spec salinity???

Hi,
Very simple, replenish your evaporated water with fresh water. Do NOT add salt. Only the water evaporates, the salt remains in the tank.

Remember to use RO, RO/DI, or distilled water to top off.

things like glass lids can help with evap. otehr then that just fill fill fill.
I evap over 6 gallons a week you get used to it

Top off frequently to prevent major changes in salinity. Don't wait for a week and then add a bunch of water.
