what to do with gorilla crab

I found a quarter sized gorilla crab in my 10gallon nano. He is currently living in a bowl beside my tank.
What should I do with him? Flush him,
does anybody near Toledo, OH want him.
I wish I had a refugium that I could put him in.

What is a gorilla crab?..do you have any pics??

Thats a general term applied to the little hairy ones. This also includes large types like decorator crabs. Flushing is suffication. You destroyed his home, why torture him. The most human method of disposing of a live specimen is to put him in the freezer in tank water.

Go to walmart and get a $9 10 gallon until you can think of something.

i have 2 hairy crabs that sound like gorilla crabs. if i kept them seperate (till i get my sump) do they need filtration or anything?

i have a pic thread asking to id the crab, it turns out it was a gorilla crab. hope the pics help confirm an id. i have 4 that i know of, but have only caught 3.
