What to do with my new Live Rock?

I just got in 25 pounds of live fiji rock that I got from saltwaterfish.com and it looks awesome. Can anyone give me the proper way to add it to my tank. I have a 44 gallon reef with 2 fish so I just don't want to place it iin all at once.
Right now it's soaking in a plastic tub in saltwater with a heater and a powerhead.

Sounds like you are currently doing the right thing buy keeping them in a separate tub. Monitor the nitrogen cycle. Once it is stable, put them in your tank!
Oh, you might want to add a skimmer to the tub, if you can.

Unfortunately only have 1 skimmer right now.
Guestimating - how long usually till you think I could add it.
