What to do with ro/di when not in use?

I just got an ro/di unit and I currently have it hooked up to my faucet in my kitchen. When I am done making water and take it off, what do I do with it? Do I need to flush the water out somehow? If so, how do I do that? Thanks for the help.

as long as it is getting used every couple of weeks it will be fine. Just make sure the membrane does not get dried out, meaning do not drain the water form the unit when not in use.

alright will do. Thanks. Then I just flush the unit for a few minutes everytime I use it again.
What happens if the membrane dries out, is there a way to tell if this has happened?

if you dont drain it, it will not get dried out. Just use it every couple of weeks to be sure it stays in good shape.

Just make sure when you store it you put a towel down or something. When I unhook mine it leaks some water out of the drain.
