What to feed a Pistol Shrimp

I seems my Pistol Shrimp is getting brave and coming out and nipping at my small feather dusters. These feathers were on a piece of LR but have been there since the start of the tank. The Shrimp has been in there for 3 months also. I was wondering if he is just hungry. What are people feeding these shrimp? Thanks in advance.

my pistol will eat anything that drops to the bottom. i also feed them microplaktons 2x a week.

I drop afew pellets outside my shrimps hole, and he comes out and grabs them.
