What to feed a trigger?

I have inherited a 6in Blue jaw trigger, Outside the normal live options, What can I feed him? err or her

My Huma Huma loves Silversides
but he would eat just about anything

I have a niger trigger that I have been feeding mainly flake. Multipack and silversides as a treat only. Trying to keep him from looking at my inverts as a snack. Seems to be working fine. He's a pig though.
