I purchased an engineer goby about a week ago. He is about 9-10" long. I have not seen him eat yet. He is currently the only resident in a 20 gal extra tall. He never swims higher than about 3" from the bottom. I've fed him pellets flake and brine. He must be eating some of it while the lights are out. Any ideas? Thanks.

I have had one of these guys for over a year now. You will be lucky if you see him eat in front of you. I have seen mine eat maybe a total of fifteen times since I have had him. But he is alive and thriving. I wouldn't worry.

My father has had one for years. It is probably 13" long and will eat out of our hands. He feed frozen food (shrimp, blood worms and such). He will eventually come out just hold out hope.
