What type of puffer do you have and what type of eels do you have? Also what are you useing for filtration and do you have a skimmer? The fish that you have allready are messy eaters and you might have to much of a bio load by adding another fish. And yes most groupers do get to big for a 125.

some tangs are sailfins, hippos, yellows,or a small naso also a cool grouper would be a miniatus grouper they only get 12'' so that could fit in a 125 gallon

I would not suggest the naso, they get up to 18 in, too large for your tank. But the rest of the fish i recommend also.

I have been told not to put together large angels and lions. The angels would pick on the fins of the lions.

I second the suggestion of adding the Harlequin Tusk. Great fish, lots of color, and readily available in the summer months. Try to get a specimen from Austalian if possible.
Opinions on this board will differ as to whether or not you should put a lionfish in with a puffer. A combination you will surely have to keep a close eye on.
