what to get??

ok wensday i will be makeing my way two hours away to nashville,tn to go to three fish store to get some corals and maybe some fish.. i want a plate coral but i have been told that t r hard to take care of? if yall could help out that would be great... also one thing i can not keep a torch coral i have tryed two of they just never open. i have a hammer and frogspawn and they look great.

It all depends what you're looking for. In LPS, I would get a red open brain, duncan, plate, or some acans. In SPS, I would get a pearlberry acro, green stylo, pink birdsnest, tricolor valida, superman monti, or neon green spongodes.

plates and flowerpots are pretty hard to keep they thrive for a while then died off =( they were my first two corals

i have a short tenicle plate and hes doing great! i spot feed him couple times a week and he is growing well!!! but the flower pot i tried once and didnt have any luck.

well i have tryed the open brain and the flower pot but no luck. i have 250w 14k mh lights so will it work for sps?
