What to put in refugium

I installed 10gl refugium couple of months ago, attached to wet/dry. Have a huge ball of chaeto growing and doing well. Have about 10lbs of live rock in it, Do I need any snails, crabs or other life in the tank, it is getting crazy with algae and other stuff. Is this the way I want it or do I add something else. Thanks

I have a few snails and crabs..also added some pods!

Its full of pods, reason I set it up, so I dont want anything that eats them in there.

Gotcha

I was watching pods crawling all over the shell of a snail in my fuge..I think they were eatng off his shell.
