What to test for?

I have found that multi test kits are expensive. Plus several of the tests in each kit I don't even need (From what I have read.) Can anyone suggest a reasonble priced multi test kit? If not what individual tests should I buy? The tank will be a FOWLR.

You will need the following if you are going to have LR and fish:
Salinity
Amnonia
Calcium
Alkalinity
I believe nitrite or nitrate..
Better off to get a Master Kit and add Calcium and Alkalinity test's too..

SW tanks aren't cheap either.. so you might as well get used to it.
How much LR do you have? Do you have LS or crushed stone?

Thanks for the suggestions. I will have about 110lbs DSB and roughly 60lbs of live rock. This will be in a 55 gallon. I realize SW is expensive.. I just spent nearly 500 on some extra stuff over the past few weeks. I will take your advice and that of others and just buy a master kit.
