what to use to save pods

I have to clean out my overflows and they happen to house some pods. what could I use to filter the water that will let detrititus through but block the pods so that I don't loose them?

I'm not really sure that there's anything you could use. If you had a screen that was small enough to trap the pods then it would probably also get clogged up with detritus as well. Pods are nocturnal and so I would use bright lighting whenever I cleaned out the tank. Maybe they'll hide and not get sucked up. They reproduce fast and so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I just cleaned out my sump and theres no telling how many I flushed doing that. I used a wet/dry and dumped the water in the tub and sat there trying to save as many as I could. lol

the only reason that I have them now is that they came in on some LR. got to try and let them reproduce.

I've gotten so used to cleaning filter floss and sumps that I don't care if I loose some pods. Although, if I loose an entire colony in a fuge because of a clean, I feel sick.
