what type of clean up crew can I get?

I have a puffer that is about 1ft long and a grouper that is about a foot long. I have no clean up crew in my tank at this time and I would like to get something in there. (sandsifter's, starfish, crabs,) can someone tell me what would work in there with out becoming food for the puffer and grouper.. thanks for taking the time to read my post...

I use a chocalate chip star in my tank. He gets all the left overs from the eel, the corris and trigger. But they will eat a sick fish , maybe a sleeping one. That is the only thing i have had for a "clean up crew" in my aggressive. The star has gotten beat up a couple of times , lost a leg to the moray and the trigger ate all of his chocalate chips off him. Beyond that , most crustations will probably get lunched by the big puffer.

I'd experiment with a few hermits, my puffer totally ignores them.
