sorry for the newbie question but i am new when it comes to coral and i saw the duncans and they look pretty cool. and im about to make my 60 gal a reef tank and thought these would look cool in there. so i was wondering what was required for these guys to live a long happy life. also my 60 gal has been setup for 5 months

Duncans are pretty easy to care for. They don't need intense lighting, just feed them some mysis and they'll grow and grow.

are they as much care as a sun coral? Like would you feed them that often, the same way making sure each polyp is fed?

They are much easier than sun corals, and the polyps grow much larger. And if you're interested in something orange/red find some Dendro's. They're very similar to Duncans, but colored like sun corals.

you don't have to feed them at all, but they grow much quicker when you do.
Yep. I bought a 5 polyp frag 3 or 4 months ago. One polyp was almost quarter sized and the rest were dime sized. Now they are all quarter sized and there are 4 more baby polyps. I may need to frag it eventually.
