I just received a new 90gal tank for X-mas from my hubby. It has a beautiful stand and canopy. I currently have a 10g & 20g which I will tranfer sand, rock and fish to. What type of filter would be best for this size tank? I have a few fish and shrooms and a cabbage coral. I would like have some soft corals and more shrooms.
Any opinions are welcome.

Id say build a sump with a small refugium and a killer protein skimmer. Then just buy the millenium 3000. The millenium 3000 is for 60 gallon tanks but if you have a refugium and a good skimmer then it doesnt matter. Im running a millenium 2000 (for 40 gallon tanks) in my 65 gallon and it does the job well.

If you are planing to use LR in your 90, than all you really need is a sump/fuge and skimmer. My 90 has a 40gal sump/fuge and it works great.
