Commonly known a a green wolf eel, it is actually not an eel it is a fish. It is part of the blenny family and gets to be about 14-16". They are aggressive as they get larger.

It's not in the blenny family - it's a pseudochromid, aka dottyback.

I'm not trying to pick on you, but why would you buy something when you didn't know exactly what it was, what its care requirements were, and how it would work in your existing aquarium? Just trying to save you some money and heartache.

Its a Green Wolf Eel.
And as someone else said its not an eel, its a blenny.
This Fish takes a few days to get accustom to your tank. Then after that its like a dragon when you feel. It will swim all over the tank and eat like you haven't feed it in months. It has a lot of personality and a real cool fish to have as long as you don't have fish that fit in its mouth.

The Dottybacks, Family Pseudochromidae
The Eelblennies, sub-family Congrogadinae are occasionally offered, and what is stated here for care applies to them though behaviorally they are much more secretive and less bold. Eelblennies are aptly common named being similar to the blennies in their passive nature and long and tapered in eel-body shape. The most commonly offered Eelblenny (aka the Green Wolf Eel) in the hobby, Congrogadus subduscens.
