I just purchased a salt called CORALIFE for my 29 gal BIO CUBE. Anyone out there use this brand? How is it? What's the best salt out there for a reef?

you keep'n corals? Personally i love and not had any probs with Tropic Marine Pro-Reef. I do weekly water changes and my corals are thriving. i really don;t have experience with the salt you are using so...somebody else is going to have to answer that. sorry

I have used it for years with no problems. Using instant ocean now. Just because it is a little less expensive and am having good results with it as well. I think that the quality of your make up water is more important than salt brand. Just stick with the major manufactures.

I used to use coralife salt but switched to reefcrystals. never had any problems when using coralife (other than one bad batch but that can happen with any salt) but I like -- better.

Tropic Marin Pro Reef. You shouldn't have to supplement anything. IMO. It's not cheap but what is the saying? You pay what you get for?
Hey, it's Friday

I've used IO: Reef Crystals, Tropic Marin Pro Reef, Oceanic, and I'm trying Coralife right now since I've heard good things about it. So far out of the three I've tried I liked Oceanic overall the best, the calcium levels were the highest out of those three I believe and I didn't have any problems with it. I've only had one water change with Coralife so I can't really judge it yet. I don't really think Tropic Marin Pro Reef is worth the money though so if I were you I'd stick with Reef Crystals, Oceanic, or Coralife.
