What type of silicon

I will be attaching some bubble traps into the inside of my sump this weekend and was wondering what type of silicon i should use to attach the acrylic to the inside of the glass tank?

I have always used the GE 100% silicone from Home depot.
It doesn't really matter what brand you use, just make sure it is 100% silicone.

Thank you for the reply, but i have one more question.
One you use the silicon should i run regular water through it to get the impurities out of the silicon or is it ok since i will be using 100% pure silicon?

100% silicon is fine, just make sure there is not anti mildew or anti bacterial in it.

You think i will have to run regular water through it after is gets hard? Or will it be ok to just hook it back up to the tank after it hardens? Im a little concerned and curious if the silicon will release some bad chemicles once i start running water through it.

dont worry about it. what do you think the tank is held together with?
it will be fine. if you are really worried about it get the one that is labeled for aquariums.
but all that it is 100% silicon
