what water level for my sump?

I just hooked up a new sump for my 120 gallon reef tank

It has a built in skimmer which drains over a few bio balls then thru sponge baffles and into return chamber.
I have a corner weir with a durso standpipe.
when I cut power,how high in the sump should water level reach in the sump?
do I include the water that stays in the corner weir?

Less than the height of the walls of the sump.... other than that... any height is good.
The rest of your post doesn't make a whole lot of sense...what do you mean "include the water..."
