WHAT WATER TO USE FILTER,BOTTLED

juST WONDERING WHAT WATER I SHOULD USE FOR WATER CHANGES.wHAT KIND MAYBEE.Name brandetc.I have high nitrates because i always use tap water. help

I used distilled water. I buy it in 2 and 1/2 gallon jugs at about $2.00 a jug. It works great for my little tank (29 gallon).

A sa;twater tank will almost always have nitrates in the water. This is the end result of the nitrafying cycle.Your water is probably OK, but it's always a better idea to use reverse osmosis water. Do you have a skimmer? This will help remove the nitrates along with water changes. If you have a fish only(no corals) nitrates can be as high as 40 without hurting anything.STEVE

hey little fish,
just to save u some $$$, at my grocery store it is cheeper to get three on gallon jugs than it is to get 1 2 1/2 gal jug(because they have that fancy knnob)
