I am making a DIY canopy and was going to put in (2) 175W bulbs. My LFS recomended I use (2) 250W bulbs. What do use guys think?
I currently have a 55Gal.,soon to be 90Gal.
I have soft corels and want some clams and maybe a few sps's. The reason for 250w is because of depth. I also been thinking about the light bill. Is their a big diffence between the 175w and 250w usage?
I could always put clams and sps's closer to the light. Any comments welcome.
