i would check the ball for sterioids... then prolly burn it and do a dance around it...
unless of course it carried a 6 figure price tag... then i would have it tested for steriods and then sell it...

1st instinct for me and you all know i am a barry bonds fan even with his ALLEGED steroid use his dad hit a ton of them too nobody thinks about genetics but 1st instinct is give it too him 2nd is my family could be set for a long time sellin it...tobin

Not steroids...HGH, which you can only test via blood, which the union will not allow.
I'd either give it to the Hall of Fame, cus you know he will not or I'd burn it and send him the ashes.

anyone in their right mind would sell it. it WILL carry 6 figures. Todd McFarlane (the comic book artist) gave over $2million for McGwire's 70th homerun. I personally would sell it as fast as I could and would not allow Bonds to even make an offer on it.
Bobby Bonds was a slightly above average power hitter, he hit around 330 HRs. this is NOT genetics. look at the first decade of his career compared to the second decade, it's pretty obvious that he was jealous of McGwire (who was also juiced) and did whatever it took to replace him.

he's busted his butt to get this far, and he deserves to have that piece of history in his possession.
and when a-rod breaks bond's record, i'd do the same.

unless you are rich already, I don't believe you for one second. that single baseball would pay for a house, children's college, and a long long way on retirement. unless you're already rich and just don't need money, there's no way you're going to turn around and give it to that schmuck.

Sell it... make millions... set for life... do whatever... no work... kids are good to go... travel... have fun... nice car... large home... give alot away...
or put it in a case and brag to your friends that you got a ball that some will care about but probably forget by the next day and worry about who might steal it for the rest of your broke life.
You can't take it with you!
