What would you pay for this clam?

Not the best picture. The colors didn't turn out, but it is Brown, Grey, Blue, and White. You can see from the pattern how it would look in person. I believe it is a Maxima. Looking for it's value and if it's a good specimen.

It is a "gold" maxima clam. It appears very healthy. For a size like that, 2 inches, it is sold approximately $15-20. The blue/purple varieties are more expensive and neon greens are the most expensive. I love clams myself. Take care of that precious one.

I've seen a few at my LFS for $40 to $50.

I got mine free...the LFS had it for a long time and no one was buying it. Everyone wants green and blue. So he asked me if I wanted it...I said sure. They were asking $45 for it.
