The RO-DI vending machine I get my water at isn't perfect and I understand that keeping it at 0 all of the time might be asking a little too much. At what point should I ask for them to change filters if they haven't yet?? thanks

Try getting a TDS meter( got mine for $21.45 shipping included ) and checking their water on the spot. If it goes above 005, I think it's time for them to change the filters, others may suggest anything under 10 ppm. JMO

I was just reading and readings over 500 are concerned by the epa to be undrinkable. Might want to check out the water you are drinking or cooking with.
