It is a parasite. It does not really look like ich. It looks more like powder than salt. Much more deadly than ich.

We thought it was water quality.....water was all in parameters...Maroon clown doing fine...
Wasn't ICH....killed the fish real fast....then jumped to my lemon peel....
Ripped the tank down, fish are in Hospital, leaving tank empty for the time being...
Can you post more info on it...

No, hypo will not treat it. Copper will.

Marex packaged by Aquatronics. 40mg/gal with just one dose on the first day only and treatment continuing for 10 days. There is a 60 day "don't add more fish to the tank" order on velvet.
