what's more stressful

Just bought a goby and he finially dug his hiding place, but the damsels don't want to let him out. Question whats more stressful to this guy? Tearing the tank apart to get the damsels out or leaving them in. I image it's time for them to hit the bricks anyways so I can prepare to get the fish I really want.

i go with Q. get rid of the damsels now, it will be better in the long run. then the goby can come out, and any new additions will not be stressed out. hth

Death to all damsels. Use green chromis to cycle a tank. Every bit as hardy and you can actually keep them with no problems after the tank has cycled.

Hi,
Yes it's time for them to go, my friend got his out by feeding with floating flakes so they would have to come to the top of the tank to eat, then slowly over days introducing a net while feeding. Soon they didn't even notice the net and bammmmmm... to damsels back the LFS for credit.
