What's my shrimp's problem???

He chases my hand around whenever I stick my hand in the aquarium, then I make a small current to push him away lol. He tries to poke at me... is this how they clean?

Lol I am guessing this is a Cleaner Shrimp? It is common behavior for them to want to jump on your hand and give you a good cleaning.

heehee! How cute! Sounds like you have an active little one there! Mine have become lazy because I spot fed them when they were young because I didn't know better, now they just expect to sit there and be fed. They should have to WORK for their dang food!

I have a peppermint that does this as soon as my hand hits water and my blood shrimp does the same, but he's a bit more shy... My flame angel stalks him, though because he's always cleaning him
