On my astrea snails there appears to be this thing on their shell. It looks like a purple/black blob. it is on 3 astreas I have seen so far. I dont have time to upload an individual pic but there is a pic here https://forums.saltwaterfish.com/t/267674/shinobis-tank/60#post_2756429
