I was wondering does any one know what the little white specs are that are on my glass and my overflows. it started out as a couple here and there, at first I thought it was CC but now I am not too sure. Before I remove them I want to make sure it is nothing I need.
Thanks

Are sporibidea worms ok to have in the tank. I think they are mobile but cant be sure they are only on the back glass and the black averflows.
I tried taking a pic but it was to small and blurry.

There are some good ID sites out there with info on these kinds of things.
I use Melev's Reef and Xtalworld.
This is the blurb on Melev's Reef about them...
Tiny white dots about the size of a pinhead can be found in reef tanks, overflow boxes , and sumps. They are Spirorbid Worms, which are filter feeders. It won't hurt to scrape them off if they obstuct your view, but they are harmless. Reef-safe.

Ok I will check these websites out.
The dots are only on the back of the glass so I will let them stay for now unless they get out of control.
thanks
