What's so special - paraplesiops?

My LFS has a Paraplesiops Melegris (blue devil) for $600. I was told the owner really wanted him and is waiting for his house to be finished. I was wondering what calls for the high price tag. Is that the going rate? It's about six inches long and watches everyone that walks by.

I dont think so. He may just be doing that either
A- He wants it for himself or
B- he will take it, or sell it for more and get TWO, lol

I just looked them up on the web, they seem to be fairly rare.

The only reason any fish is expensive in this hobby is because it is rare. The easier it is to get the fish, the less it costs. Simple supply/demand.
