What's the cats MEOW? in Nano's?

I am thinking on adding a small Nano tank in my kitchen. What is the latest and greatest? I am just curious. I would like to keep softies, polyps mostly. Maybe a few nice pieces of LR, a shrimp, 2 GSM, and a baby wrass of some sort.
How are the filtrations?
any internal skimmer?
Are they quiet?
Any help would be great. If you have a nice pic of yours I would love to see it.:cheer:

I have a 7 gallon bow and does pretty good. It's nice because you can add compacts on them now if you want to keep a small reef. I have a peguin 125 hob filter for flow and just live rock and sand for filtration. You must add daily r/o top offs because of evaporation, and do weekly 1 gallon water changes to controll nitrates. I always seem to have some nitrates so you probably won't be able to keep anything too complex, however i've seen it done in these 7 gallons.
