What's the deal with this sexy shrimp?

Hi,
Yesterday I drip acclimated a feather duster and a sexy shrimp for about 2 hours. The duster was happy right away, the shrimp ran for cover and I saw him briefly in the evening. No sign of him today. How long will he be hiding, or when do I assume he is dead? I have a cleaner shrimp in there that's very happy too. My water parameters are good.
Don't sexy shrimps have pretty bold personalities?

He is new, and he is hiding. Expect to catch a fleeting glimpse of him occasionally at best.

Thank you. I saw him once yesterday, and so far once today. I wanted to get him a couple of friends, but LFS could only catch one.
