What's the difference btn reef and semi-reef?

Can anyone tell me the difference between reef and semi-reef? Thanks!

Can't say I've heard the term semi-reef. I suppose it would mean you are limiting your corals to minimal numbers, or only keeping certain types.

darn terminology. my assumption is a true reef setup is a tank w/ only LR, LS, and corals. then the semi reef would inclue fish.
