I'm sorry, i hope you didn't take that the wrong way. I was being silly. If I had to wager a quick guess, I'd say food intake.

Of the 3 you mentioned other than physical appearance there is no defining difference.

hmmmmm....my hairy mushroom loved to eat krill. The shroom was almost 4 inches in diameter.

Like I said of the 3 she mentioned.. there are a few others that can get over a foot in diameter and eat fish.

Yep pretty much they can actually go for months without being spot fed and show no ill signs of distress or starvation. They require very little if anything.

A ricordia is a specific type of mushroom and a yuma is a specific type of ricordia. They are all mushrooms and have no real physiological difference other than appearance.
